THE ONE FESTIVAL

TEATRO LATEA and CAICEDO PRODUCTIONS proudly present the "THE ONE FESTIVAL", the sixth annual event showcasing new theatrical works by solo performers. Featuring multi-talented playwrights and performance artists from across the United States, "THE ONE FESTIVAL" will have a two-week theatrical run from April 11- 24, 2011 at Teatro LATEA, located at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center on New York City’s vibrant Lower East Side.

"THE ONE FESTIVAL" will showcase 8 original, non-published theatrical works, both full-length and shorts. Each piece will be performed four times during the festival. At the conclusion of the festival, the audience favorite will be awarded the grand prize of a $500 cash prize plus a full theatrical production at Teatro LATEA later this year.

To win the grand prize, a production must receive a minimum of 75 votes from participating audience members during the course of the festival. The production with the most votes will be declared the festival winner – “THE ONE!”

Showtimes are at 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and at 4 p.m. on Sundays from April 11th – 24th. Teatro LATEA is located at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural & Educational Center, 107 Suffolk Street, 2nd floor, NYC (between Delancey and Rivington Streets).
